'The Masterpiece' Part 4-A Weekend in the Country by Olivia Plender The latest installment of Plender's comic - £5 For the exhibition 'The Medium and Daybreak' 23 pages Published by Castlefield Gallery publications, 2005 ISBN 0-9521780-4-4 This is the most recent part of Plender's comic 'The Masterpiece' about her 1950s artistic genius Nick, produced to coincide with the exhibition 'The Medium and Daybreak.' In this installment, Nick and his bohemian friends are invited by art dealer Norman to a country house for the weekend. Happenings become increasingly sinister as a Spiritualist senses that Nick is suffering the ghost of his old mentor (whom he murdered in episode 2), and it transpires that Norman is the head of a strange religious cult....and a sheep-headed man materialises....
