CG Associates out in force

Castlefield Gallery’s CG Associates were out in force this weekend supporting artist Bob and Roberta Smith and Crescent Arts Art Party Conference in Scarborough.

Featuring a host of events all day on Sat 23 Nov including The Summit, talks, round table discussions, a Michael Gove coconut shy, the Art Party march and it was all rounded off by a right good knees up. Our CG Associates had a fantastic day rubbing shoulders with the likes of Jeremy Deller, Bob and Roberta Smith and Richard Wentworth who where all there for the same as us, to stand up for the importance of art in education.

The entire journey was documented throughout, with artist and film maker Tim Newton working with Bob and Roberta Smith to produce The Art Party Road Movie to be released next year and distributed by Cornerhouse.
