Unit X at CG New Art Spaces Federation House – Part of Manchester After Hours

Museums at Night is an annual, nocturnal celebration of the best of our museums and galleries – but in Manchester we’ve put our own twist on proceedings with Manchester After Hours, an evening of secret gigs amongst medieval book stacks, video jamming with steam engines, a poet laureate and live recordings.

And Castlefield Gallery are thrilled to be getting in on the action by hosting Manchester School of Art’s Unit X exhibition at CG New Art Spaces Federation House.  One FINAL art event in the building before Federation House becomes part of the Tech City Cluster Alliance. Unit X will take over Federation House for the School of Art’s annual showcase of emerging talent. Film, art, design and photography come together in exhibitions, installations and interventions throughout the building.

Plus don’t miss ‘pop-up’ opera provided by RNCM outside Federation House on Dantzic Street. 6pm-9pm (drop in)
