Castlefield Gallery exhibits work by regional, national and international contemporary visual artists providing a unique and stimulating context for breakfast meetings, seminars, networking events and evening drinks receptions.

Located 2 min walk from Deansgate train and Tram station, Castlefield Gallery is conveniently situated with fantastic public transport links via bus, train or tram in addition to nearby car parks.

Times

Our exhibitions are open to the public 12pm – 5:30pm Wed – Sun, so breakfast and evening events outside of these times as well as events on Mondays and Tuesday are the easiest for us to accommodate. It is also possible for us to consider longer hires taking place during exhibition changeover periods.

The Space

We have an intimate upper gallery space with a balcony that overlooks a double height space leading to a larger lower gallery space. If possible we recommend visiting the gallery to get a sense of the space but in general we can accommodate: up to 100 people for a standing function or drinks reception, up to 45 people theatre style or up to 14 people for a round table seated meeting.

Depending on the current exhibition the available space may change so please get in touch for more information.

All public spaces in the gallery are fully accessible.

Breakfast meetings and seminars

8am-12 noon £175+VAT

Castlefield Gallery can offer pastries and breakfast muffins on arrival, unlimited tea and coffee, fruit juice, a selection of fresh fruit, still and sparkling mineral water and midmorning biscuits for your guests at a cost of £10+VAT per person. A PA system, data projectors and flip chart and pens can be supplied by prior arrangement and at an additional cost.

During your mid morning break you can also book an introduction (approx 20min) to our concurrent exhibition for your guests from an expert member of the team for an additional cost of £45+VAT. Must be booked in advance.

Drink receptions

6pm-10pm £300+VAT

Hire includes two members of staff to assist in your event. A PA system and data projector can be supplied by prior arrangement and at an additional cost. The gallery can also organise, or recommend outside caterers. We are also happy for clients to arrange their own catering.

Please note:
Castlefield Gallery is not available for artists or curators to hire for their own exhibitions. The gallery is not suitable for large events and celebrations such as wedding receptions.
