Castlefield Gallery at The Manchester Contemporary 2015
Posted on 7 September 2015
Castlefield Gallery is thrilled to once again be taking part in The Manchester Contemporary, when we will again be showcasing some of the most promising emerging artists who are currently without commercial gallery representation.
This year CG has selected six artists from its CG Associates scheme; Jemma Egan, Nicola Ellis, Hannah Farrell, Martin Hamblen, Holly Rowan Hesson and Ron Hutchison.
CG launched its CG Associates scheme for artists, writers and independent curators working contemporary art in December 2012. Now with over 170 members, the scheme supports them by developing their work and careers by providing information, skills, exhibiting opportunities, resources, promotion and critical dialogue.
Returning for its 6th year with a record number of galleries announced The Manchester Contemporary is the largest fair of critically engaging visual art outside of London and returns to Old Granada Studios in Manchester on 25– 27 September with a preview event on Thursday 24 September.
