Castlefield Gallery is delighted to take part in the second edition of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority Creative Care Kit for young people. The kit is designed for 13-20-year-olds, particularly those who face challenges accessing online resources and who need extra support at the moment.
Since the start of the COVID-19 lockdown, Castlefield Gallery has been working with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, arts and cultural sector providers, charities, and businesses from across Greater Manchester to support thousands of young and older people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
For this second edition Creative Care Kit for young people, Castlefield Gallery commissioned artist George Gibson to develop a Mail Art activity.
You can download George’s activity sheet and the full book as a pdf here. This resource is free to use and particularly relevant to young people, families and those who support young people.
