Castlefield Gallery’s Director and Artistic Director, has been appointed as one of three new Contemporary Visual Arts Network NW Chairs and Directors

This spring Helen Wewiora, Castlefield Gallery’s Director and Artistic Director, has been appointed as one of three new Contemporary Visual Arts Network North West (CVAN NW) Chairs and Directors. Helen is accompanied by new Directors Sarah Fisher, Executive Director of Open Eye Gallery, Liverpool, and marketing and communications specialist Catharine Braithwaite. The three join Elaine Speight, a longstanding CVAN NW Director and Chair, Reader in Curatorial Practice and Place at the University of Central Lancashire, and co-principal investigator of In Certain Places, and Sue Flowers of Greenclose Studios.
