Student take over: Jo McGonigal x Frank Bowling

With the exhibition 40 Years of the Future: Jo McGonigal x Frank Bowling coming to a close, University of Manchester History of Art students Abi Townson, Jack Barraclough and Leona Yeboah, are delivering a student-led presentation to offer their take on the exhibition.

The event will encourage people to explore how the sculptures and paintings of Sir Frank Bowling OBE RA and the spatial paintings of Dr Jo McGonigal engage with the pictorial and physical space of the gallery. The event will be informed by the students academic studies as well as answers to questions sent by the students to Jo McGonigal and Ben Bowling.
