Snail Porridge Audience Choice Awards Announced

The results of the Audience Choice Awards for our recent exhibition, Snail Porridge curated by Bob and Roberta Smith in collaboration with the Koestler Trust are now in.

The Koestler Awards are an annual scheme that has been run for over 50 years by the UK’s best known prison arts charity, promoting artistic achievement in the criminal justice system and secure sectors.

Throughout the Snail Porridge exhibition visitors were encouraged to cast there votes and leave comments, and these will now be finding there way to the artists. Castlefield Gallery, Bob and Roberta Smith and the Koestler Trust would like to thank all those who spent the time writing feedback on the entries and placing votes.

Awards:

Platinum Award: Lost in the Woods, Steven, HM Prison Liverpool

Gold Award: Moo, Zenon, HM Prison Risley

Silver Award: Psychedelic Bridge Mystery, David, HM Prison Liverpool

Bronze Award: Snail Porridge, Sean, HM Prison Garth
