“I am an artist with a collaborative practice (Brass Art) with Anneké Pettican and Kristin Mojsiewicz based in Manchester, Glasgow and Huddersfield.

My relationship with Castlefield began the year I finished Art School and moved to Manchester. Their encouragement was invaluable in establishing myself as an artist, and validated my practice with my first gallery group show and commission.

I am immensely grateful for those opportunities and continue to appreciate the more recent opportunities that have been afforded to my former students from Manchester School of Art which have been career defining in many cases. The work of Castlefield Gallery plays a vital part in the Art eco-system of Manchester and beyond and it is a real privilege to be able to play a small part in supporting it’s future as a trustee.”
