Our purpose is to support artists, build creative communities and make new art happen. Our vision is to be one of the leading UK organisations for artists’ development, building a compelling case for supporting artists, their work and careers, at every level.
Castlefield Gallery invests in and develops creative skills whilst facilitating national and international connection for creatives in the North West of England. We believe the North can be a place where artists can live and work, and a place from where they can carve out successful international careers.
A registered charity, Castlefield gallery relies on donations. Individual giving is vital to sustaining and growing our work, to realising our ambition and meeting our charitable objectives. Individual giving allows us to invest in our belief that when artists and communities come together, they help shape a better world.

Become a Guardian or Patron today!
Guardians
£60 per year (or £5 per month by Direct Debit)
Become a Guardian:

- Receive monthly news updates, invitations to private viewings and our winter gathering
- Access to a programme of supporter specific talks, events and trips (booking charges may apply)
- Receive complimentary tickets and priority booking for yourself and a guest to all paid for public events at Castlefield Gallery
- Be recognised for your contribution in our gallery and online
Patrons
£240 per year (or £20 per month by Direct Debit)
Become a Patron:
- Receive a Castlefield Gallery branded gift
- Receive monthly news updates, invitations to private viewings and our winter gathering
- Access to a programme of supporter specific talks, events and trips (reduced booking charges may apply)
- Receive a Castlefield Gallery edition or publication carefully selected for our Patrons and gifted at our winter gathering
- Receive complimentary tickets and priority booking for yourself and a guest to all paid for public events at Castlefield Gallery
- Be recognised for your contribution in our gallery and online
Silver patrons
£600 per year (or £50 per month by Direct Debit)
Silver Patron donations are dedicated to Castlefield Gallery artist development programmes that invest in creative practice, skills and careers. They include bespoke activities designed for specific age groups, lived experiences, career stages, making international connections, focus on environmental sustainability and more!

- Receive monthly news updates, invitations to private viewings and our winter gathering
- Access to a programme of supporter specific talks, events and trips (reduced booking charges may apply)
- Receive a Castlefield Gallery edition or publication carefully selected for our Patrons and gifted at our winter gathering
- Receive complimentary tickets and priority booking for yourself and a guest to all paid for public events at Castlefield Gallery
- Receive a discount on selected Castlefield Gallery shop items (including select editions)
- Be recognised for your contribution in our gallery and online
Commissioning Patron
£1200+ per year (or £100+ per month by Direct Debit)
Commissioning Patrons enable exhibition and commission career-defining opportunities for artists and independent curators.
Your donation will support Castlefield Gallery to collaborate with artists to develop and showcase new work as part of exhibitions programmes at our main galleries, off-site (often in partnership with public collections that collect commissioned works from our joint projects with them), and in the public realm.
Commissioning Patrons can:
- Dedicate their gift to a specific Castlefield Gallery exhibition or commission, a project of your choice, receiving credit in all related communications
- Access to activity curated for you and a guest, relevant to the project your donation supports.
Become a Commissioning Patron:
- Receive a Castlefield Gallery branded gift
- Receive monthly news updates, invitations to private viewings and our winter gathering
- Access to a programme of supporter specific talks, events and trips (reduced booking charges may apply)
- Receive a Castlefield Gallery edition or publication carefully selected for our Patrons, gifted at our winter gathering
- Receive complimentary tickets and priority booking for yourself and a guest to all paid for public events at Castlefield Gallery
